Jeuveau® are neuromodulators that work by blocking the nerve impulse that controls muscle movement, thereby temporarily restricting the ability to contract the facial muscles. Without movement of these selected muscles in the face, certain wrinkles can be softened, reduced, or even eliminated! Untreated muscles still work normally, so you can continue to express feelings naturally. Neuromodulators are injected to help smooth the appearance of wrinkles and are generally used to treat the upper face in areas such as frown lines, forehead, and crow’s feet. In addition, they can also be used for other cosmetic and therapeutic treatments such as getting rid of gummy smile, bunny lines, dimpled chin, neck lines, underarm sweat, or to achieve a V-line face (masseter reduction), eyebrow lift, lip flip, barbie arms, slimmer shoulders, slimmer calves etc. The results from Jeuveau injections last between 3-6 months.
