The hyaluronic acid used in Belotero gel has been specially formulated to ensure smooth, even results. It’s produced using a proprietary Cohesive Polydensified Matrix, or CPM, process that turns it into a flexible, smooth gel. This gel blends safely and naturally into the skin tissue to gently, but effectively, fill in moderate-to-severe lines and wrinkles. It is best described as an “air-brusher” due to it’s effectiveness at smoothing away superficial lines and wrinkles where other dermal fillers may be too thick or robust.

Your injector will help you determine if Belotero is right for you, however, pregnant and lactating women should avoid it’s use as it has not been studied on such populations. You should not have treatment if you have severe allergies marked by a history of anaphylaxis or a history or presence of multiple severe allergies. Belotero Balance should not be used in patients with a history of allergies to Gram-positive bacterial proteins. Belotero Balance should not be used in patients with a history of allergies to lidocaine as it may be mixed with this medication to alleviate discomfort during treatment.
