Weight loss (Semaglutide)

Brands like Ozempic & Wegovy (two brands of Semaglutide) are getting well-deserved hype for their phenomenal weight loss results! There are thousands that have contributed their successful weight loss to SEMAGLUTIDE.
Semaglutide is part of a class of medications called GLP-1 receptor agonists, or glucagon-like peptide-1 receptor agonists. It increases insulin secretion, which is good for diabetes. But at higher doses, it acts on centers in the brain and suppresses appetite helping patients adhere to a significantly reduced calorie diet.
Hormones, age & lifestyle affect our weight gain and loss, often making it hard to lose even with good diet and exercise. Semaglutide has been shown to get those stubborn pounds to come off.
Semaglutide is a medical prescription of a weekly subcutaneous injections where the dosing increases each four weeks or as prescribed by our doctor.
On average people who take Semaglutide lose about 15% of initial body fat after 16 weeks. It is important to use this medication in conjunction with lifestyle changes to sustain results.

How fast does semaglutide work for weight loss?

If you’re taking semaglutide for chronic weight management, you can expect to see some results by the end of the first month, though the low initial doses of this drug treatment mean the initial results will be subtle and only appear a few weeks in. Larger amounts of excess weight come off in subsequent weeks, with the peak weight loss happening between weeks 8-28.

How much weight will you lose on semaglutide?

The Semaglutide Treatment Effect in People with Obesity (STEP) trials have found that obese patients who take 2.4 mg of semaglutide weekly lose an average of 6% of their body weight by week 12. This roughly doubles to 12% of body weight lost by week 28.
