Our PicoLo laser combines Nd:YAG 1064 532nm picosecond wavelenghts to deliver precise, comfortable, and effacious procedures. Thanks to its technology, we can address acne scars, aging concerns, tattoo removal, sun damage and pigmented lesions such as Seborrheic, Keratosis, Lentigo, PIH and Hori's Nevus & Nevus of Ota. We can safely use PicoLo on every skin type.
Picotoning can be used safely on all skin types, but is the treatment of choice for many conditions in Asian and ethnic skin. Advantages of using Pico Laser for toning:
Depending on your treatment indication and desired outcome, you may be satisfied even after only one session. In general, most treatments do require at least two or more sessions.
Treatments can last anywhere from 15 minutes to an hour, depending upon your treatment skin goals.
Treatments are relatively comfortable. Most patients report mild to no discomfort for anti-aging, scars and pigmented lesion treatment, but for tattoo removal do experience some level of discomfort. We offer topical numbing for all treatments and provide Nitronox Plus as an add-on if patient desires.
Thankfully there is no excessive downtime needed with our Pico treatments. You may be red and sensative for 2-3 days post treatment, but that resolves.
